Entrance to Morgan Ranch, July 11, 2017

We encourage everyone to email Bjorn at the City and ask why our front
entrance is not being cared for. The grass is dead in spots and we have
two dead trees that need to come down.

Meeting at City Hall, September 15, 2016

We had about 40 people who attended the meeting. The unofficial results were the following:

- About 4 trees are "out for bid" by a licensed arborist. The City states this has to be done vesrsus City employees -- all costs $$ since they have to pay prevailing wage, etc.

- The City is going to "pace" the work that needs to be done as the $$ becomes available. The first thing is to check underground watering system for integrity, etc. After that is done, they will put the zero-scape work to be done on the island out for bid as well, also prevailing wage will need to be paid.

- Second phase is to work on one side of the island, and then the other as the $$ is available.

- The City states some homeowners who want to help can, but they will need to sign a waiver.

- According to a bill Governor Brown signed, we will never be able to have grass there again.
